Does the adhesive remain on the glass when the window film is removed?

The adhesive is made to be removed with the film. However, especially with films that have been installed for long periods, adhesive may remain on the glass. If there are adhesive residue left on the surface of the glass, you may use STEK TAR & ADHESIVE remover.

Is there any special precautions or maintenance before installing window films?

Windows should be free of dust, oils, grimes, etc. that could interfere with the installation. Please make sure that the windows are clean before installation.

Installation procedures can vary with every installer. In general, it is recommended to keep the installation area clean, free from any dust that may cause issues with the film.

Can we roll down the windows right after installation?

Window films should be allowe to dry and cure before operation. This process takes at least 24-36 hours.

Is high film adhesion better?

Not necessarily. Too high adhesion can cause problems during removal or replacement of the films. The films can tear or adhesive maybe left during removal.
