STEK’s films are built with superior materials and in accordance with stringent quality standards. With adequate maintenance, they will give you years of reliable use. But as with most products, they are subject to wear and tear. For peace of mind, we offer a manufacturer’s warranty on all our products. If you eventually need replacement, technical assistance, or product information, please contact your STEK Distributor and by having ready at hand the product’s model name as well as the date and place of purchase along with proof of purchase.

Beware of Counterfeit STEK Products

Here at STEK, we constantly push to bring more innovative products incorporating cutting-edge technology and high-quality raw materials. As we are building up a reputation as a premium brand, some manufacturers and suppliers are distributing counterfeit STEK products of low quality at a marked-up price. We take this issue very seriously as this taints STEK’s reputation as a brand and leads to you, our valued customer, having a dissatisfactory experience after paying for a premium product.

STEK takes measures such as placing security labels on our product that can be used to verify the product’s authenticity digitally. We also have implemented several hidden measures in STEK products that we use to determine the product’s authenticity when we investigate customer complaints.

We are also actively reporting counterfeit products listed on online marketplaces. However, certain countries have relatively lax regulations, which makes it difficult for us to enforce the measures we take to protect our customers and the STEK brand. Because of this, it is important that you make an informed decision when you plan on getting STEK products installed on your vehicle. Here are several things to consider:

Always go to an authorized STEK partner. We have a map on our website where you can search for your nearest authorized STEK partner.
DO NOT purchase full rolls or pre-cut DIY kits of STEK films from websites that do not require any business credentials from the buyer. We sell rolls of our films only to trained professionals, as properly installing paint protection film and window film requires extensive training.
Always ask your installer for a warranty card with the lot number. The lot number is crucial in verifying the film’s authenticity and receiving appropriate customer service when needed.

Without exception, counterfeit products will always have inferior quality compared to authentic STEK products. The raw material and proprietary technology we incorporate in our product cannot be mimicked by manufacturers of counterfeit products that hide behind other brands. Because these manufacturers operate based in countries with almost no brand protection measures, the only way for STEK to counter this issue is to inform our customers on how to detect counterfeit products and avoid giving business to installers using those products. Please understand that STEK is not responsible for customer service regarding issues with counterfeit or unverifiable products installed on your vehicle.

STEK Product Genuinity Verification

It has recently come to our attention that counterfeit STEK products are currently being offered for sale in the market. With this in mind, we’d like to bring the following to your attention. If the product that you own is identified as counterfeit, you will not be able to use the services provided by STEK Automotive and it will be difficult to receive warranty coverage. As a result, please take care when purchasing.

Products purchased from unofficial online or offline retailers are likely to be counterfeit. Therefore, we recommend that you purchase through your local STEK Official Distributor that you can find below on the map.
